Creative Content Writer

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. You will regularly go beyond “copy/paste to play a crucial role in translating technical requirements to business outcomes, and you’ll create direct customer communications that support our strong market position and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing at least one well-researched blog/guide a day
• Achieving daily word count target (Up to 2000)
• Completing WordPress publication of all pieces
• Meeting calendar deadlines and maintaining, where possible, a decent gap between work submission and publishing
• Searching for and including suitable images and videos for each post.
• Creating infographic and video concepts for blogs/guides where needed by coordinating with the Graphic Designers
• Provide training/assistance to the new writers for greater efficiency in work
• Working on any other additional jobs assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelors or above

Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience

Knowledge

• Good knowledge of what is engaging and original content
• Basic understanding of SEO friendly writing

Skills

• Ability to dig deep and research on any given topic even if there’s no info available on the web.
• Ability to adapt to different writing styles
